I have baked some cookies for Nelly (ok, she is a litte bit spoiled čśë ). I wanted to post the recipe here so you can make them for your dog as well as Nelly really loved them. When your dog easily puts on some weight, you should use quark (or cottage cheese) with a low amount of fat. If your dog is rather slim (or pregnant čÖé ), you should use quark with a high fat content.

  • 150 g quark
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp oil (olive or rapeseed oil)
  • 200 g oatmeala
  • 1 Alaska pollock or another fish (MSC certified)

You quickly “cook” the fish in its own juice in the microwave so it is easy to spread. Then you add all the other ingredients, knead it to a dough and form small roles. You bake the cookies at 150 ┬░C for 25 minutes and let them cool well. If you keep them so the remaining moisture can evaporate, they keep for some time at room temperature.

Enjoy!
